Oakley Capital Investments Limited, the AIM-listed company, joins LPEQ, the association of listed private equity companies.
Oakley Capital Investments Limited (AIM: OCL; “Oakley Capital”), the AIM-listed company established to provide investors with access to the investment strategy being pursued by Oakley Capital Private Equity L.P. ("Fund I") and its successor fund, OCPE II Master L.P. ("Fund II"), (together the “Funds”), today joins LPEQ, the association of listed private equity companies.
The Funds are unlisted mid-market private equity funds with the aim of providing investors with significant long term capital appreciation. The Funds’ investment strategy is to focus on buy-out opportunities in industries with the potential for growth, consolidation and performance improvement. The Funds seek to invest in companies with scale in their industry sub-sectors, thereby creating a sustainable earnings stream which should command a premium on exit.
Andrea Lowe, chief executive of LPEQ, said: “Oakley has a well recognised and respected brand in both private and public market investment and it is with the greatest pleasure that we welcome Oakley Capital Investments Ltd as LPEQ’s latest member.”
Peter Dubens, Director at Oakley Capital, said: “As an investor in private, high growth companies across the UK and Europe, OCL is a natural supporter of LPEQ’s efforts in the listed private equity sector. We look forward to working alongside LPEQ and our fellow members to make listed private equity more accessible to public market investors.” Ends
