LPEQ Guidance: The PRIIPs Regulation

Read and download our Key Information Document on PRIIPs

The PRIIPs Regulation requires a product manufacturer to prepare and publish a key information document (“KID”) for any packaged retail investment product (or insurance based investment product) which it produces. The new rules will take effect on 1 January 2018 and all PRIIPs must have a KID prepared by them.

The purpose of the KID is to improve transparency for retail investors by providing them with a short document, containing the key information about a product which will enable them to make informed investment decisions and which is presented in a common format that will allow investors to more easily compare different investment products.
